#TMI- TOO MANY INCARCERATION
Join TMI Detroit Inc.'s mission to reduce crime, recidivism and America's prison population; as well as to give people a sense of direction that will keep them out of trouble in the first place.
Our mission includes removing barriers to employment and self-sufficiency for millions of American citizens who are being denied housing, employment and other state and federal assistance programs; some even being denied food assistance programs due to having a criminal record.
We are strong supporters of criminal justice reform, prison reform, re-entry programs and parole board oversight.
We facilitate offsite career and education fairs, Four Keys To Success Community Workshops.
Employability and customer service training workshops and presentations.
Expungement workshops.
Motivational talks, job readiness soft transferable skills, life skills and customer service skills training.
Resume writing, job searching and interviewing skills, budgeting, dress for success, conflict resolution, problem-solving skills training, job search/placement assistance, case management, retention follow up.

2022 Toys Making i.m.p.a.c.t.s Community Christmas Party
- We give a very special "THANK YOU AGAIN" to the Michigan State Police for helping TMI Detroit Inc. collect more than three-thousand (3000) brand new unwrapped Christmas toys, gift cards, bikes and so much more by hosting “STUFF A BLUE GOOSE” toy drives at FORMAN MILLS- Southfield MI and TARGET STORES- three (3) times leading up to Christmas.
Christmas shoppers and the surrounding community helped make I.M.P.A.C.T.S by “stuffing Michigan State Police patrol cars” full of brand-new unwrapped Christmas toys, gift cards, etc.”
Collected Christmas toys and other donated items were then be distributed as “Christmas gifts” at the 2022 TOYS MAKING I.M.P.A.C.T.S. COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY, to hundreds of local low income and disadvantaged children/families in need; ages newborn to 13 years old. from Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties, Michigan.
